Scoring & Game Play
- All players expected to maintain honesty, fairness, and good sportsmanship during league play.
- Each team will keep their scores on a single scorecard
- Competition will be WATL style but based on cumulative scoring (not tournament elimination)
- WATL style scoring and game play:
- 2 player teams should play each round together
- Each round consists of 10 throws, scores recorded after each throw
- The target consists of 5 rings (1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 points) as well as 2 kill shots (8 points)
- Players will switch targets after the 5th throw
- Players can opt to throw at the kill shot on the 5th and 10th throws only
- If throwing at the kill shot, the player must make the call known to his teammate prior to throwing
- If a kill shot is called and not hit, the score is zero
- If a kill shot is called and hit on the 5th throw and the player opts to throw at a kill shot on the 10th throw as well, the opposite kill shot must be utilized
- Any scoring dispute or need for judgement will be made by a staff member of The Axe Armory
- After each round, the team will record a cumulative score
- Players will turn in the scorecard(s) with their 3 highest team scores of the night - each of the 3 rounds must be identified by being highlighted or circled.
